Beyond Pink Benefit Luncheon
May 01, 2018 06:40PM
Beyond Pink is holding its annual benefit luncheon titled An Afternoon of Inspiration on May 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chateau Rive at the Flour Mill in Spokane. The luncheon, featuring KHQ’s Leslie Lowe as the keynote speaker, is hosted by KHQ’s Stephanie Vigil.
“This lunch is designed to educate, inspire and connect the audience to the life-saving technology that is thermography, and we are so honored to have Stephanie Vigil and Leslie Lowe participate,” says Karla Porter, co-founder of Beyond Pink along with Charlie Brewer. “In addition, we have a panel of experts, including naturopathic physician Dr. Alycia Policani, available to answer questions and discuss thermography and the Beyond Pink charity as well as share preventative measures women can take to reduce the risk of breast cancer now and in the future,” adds Brewer.
The pair founded Beyond Pink to celebrate the technology of thermography and its powerful ability to aid in the early detection of breast disease. Their goal was to not only educate and raise awareness, but to help provide funding for women who could not otherwise afford this potentially life-saving screening as it is generally not covered by insurance.
Cost: The luncheon is free. Generous donations are requested, with a suggested donation of $125 per person. Location: Flour Mill, 621 West Mallon Ave., Spokane. To register or to host a table contact Charlie Brewer at 509-863-7776. For more information, visit BeyondPink.net.
