DuPree and Delany recently launched their gluten-free Flour Farm business after DuPree sold his successful restaurant, Latah Bistro, and latte stand, Latah Latte. “We believe in the benefits of clean, gluten-free eating and wanted to create a product with integrity that would become the foundation for delicious, gluten-free food,” says DuPree. Delany, a skilled baker and formulator of the flour blend, created a recipe section on the Flour Farm website that includes a variety of family and customer-tested baked goods, such as muffins, pizza and pie crust, cupcakes, carrot cake, pancakes, tortillas, bread, cookies and more. “All the recipes on our website are ones we use in our own home,” she says.
Flour Farm is made up of five organic flours ethically sourced in northern California, Thailand, Italy and the Philippines, and include organic sweet white and brown rice flour as well as tapioca, almond and coconut flours. In addition, Flour Farm flour freezes easily, making creating and storing gluten-free food convenient and easy for families on the go.
