First Annual Mass Meditation Ceremony in Spokane
Mar 02, 2019 04:25PM
The first annual Mass Meditation in the Park is being held on March 20 at 6 p.m. in Drumheller Springs Historical Park in Spokane, Washington.
“Scientific studies have confirmed the positive effects mass intention and meditations have on human society,” says Becca Lynn, an organizer of the event. “This is our way to unify and give love to our beautiful planet as well as to Spokane and surrounding regions. We are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in this collective group intention and to create a mass meditation effect.”
Sponsored by non-profit groups, Bring Your Own Beliefs and the Ahava Project, the ceremony opens with a healing circle followed by the mass meditation. “The meditation will be amplified by the portal of the equinox and the full moon,” says Lynn. “We encourage attendees to dress warm and bring a blanket or chair to sit on during the meditation. We will also enjoy a potluck and celebration afterward. Please join us!”Location: 1915 W. Dalton Ave., in Spokane. Cost: Free. Donations welcome.
