Jun 01, 2019 11:11AM
The Church of Truth, with its new minister Reverend Dennis Ashley, and the Coeur d’Alene Metaphysical Resource Center are teaming up to host the first annual Metaphysical Summer Solstice Event in Coeur d’Alene June 21 and 22.
The Summer Solstice celebration will begin on Friday at 7 p.m. with a drumming circle and continue on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a Metaphysical Vendor Fair showcasing local seers, holistic healers, energy workers, metaphysical services and products.
“The Summer Solstice has marked pivotal points in human history including the rise of the Nile River, the one-month countdown to the Olympics in Ancient Greece, and commemorating the birth of John the Baptist,” says Reverend Ashley. “We are excited and honored to be joining forces with the Metaphysical Resource Center in bringing together spiritually motivated individuals and groups to celebrate this very special time in our calendar year.”
Ashley says the intention is to make the Metaphysical Summer Solstice an annual event in Coeur d’Alene. “We want to encourage anyone and everyone interested in metaphysics, spirituality, love and connection to attend. It’s gonna be rockin!”
