“I will be talking about today’s challenges in practice management, insurance compliance: to bill or not to bill, maximizing reimbursements and ideal patients,” shares Samora. “We will also discuss how to cultivate your dream practice, so I hope anyone who is interested will attend!”
A graduate of Stanford Law School, Samora is a national expert on evaluation and integration of complementary and integrative medicine into mainstream medical practices. She is also a legal consultant for the National Center for Integrative Health (NCIH) and has written the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) scope of practice for Blue Shield, Blue Cross and Cigna health insurance companies. “I strongly believe that every person on the planet should have access to complementary and alternative medicine, and that insurance should cover it,” emphasizes Samora. “I look forward to sharing more information about this important topic at our September HCC meeting.”
